Do I need my own ECHA account and S2S keys?
You always keep your own ECHA Legal Entity — it's yours, never ours. On Solo and Starter you submit yourself (we provide a 5-minute setup guide). From Business and up you can opt for our broker workflow: we prepare the XML, you click "Authorise" and we submit on your behalf as a Foreign User. **You can switch back to self-serve any time.** Optional €69 onboarding to register your ECHA account end-to-end on Business+.
What happens if my supplier updates their SDS?
You get an email: "Your Safety Data Sheet for Lavender has been updated. You need to update the PCN dossier — click submit." Without that, the UFI on your label no longer matches the formulation in the ECHA database — exposing you to fines of up to €50 000 in most Member States. This is the #1 reason customers stay on ChemReady — they wouldn't catch it themselves.
Does ChemReady author Safety Data Sheets (SDS)?
No. SDS comes from your raw material supplier (fragrance, wax, carrier) or a chemical consultant. We handle compliance USING those sheets — generating UFI, submitting PCN, producing labels. If you don't have a localized SDS, we'll refer you to an SDS authoring partner (€180–€280 per sheet, depending on language).
What about national chemical enforcement inspections?
Any small consumer chemical brand can be inspected by the national CLP/PCN enforcement authority — health inspectorates, market surveillance bodies, or dedicated chemicals offices vary by Member State. In the dashboard you click "Generate audit pack" and get a PDF with everything: submission numbers, dates, SDS, labels, ECHA receipts. All electronically signed with IP + timestamp audit log. Five minutes instead of a week of panic.
Can I export to Germany, France, the Netherlands…?
Yes — from Business and up you tick checkboxes for each country ([DE] [FR] [NL] [IT] [PL] [ES] …) and we submit to each Member State's poison centre separately. National fees (where they exist) are billed separately, but we handle the XML and the communication. UK and Switzerland have their own post-Brexit systems — coming later in 2027.
How do I cancel?
Settings → "Cancel subscription". No "wait, give us a chance" emails. After cancellation you get 90 days of read-only access to your audit pack and archive. After 90 days the archive is exported to your email as a ZIP. Your submissions stay in ECHA — they're your property, we're just the tool.
Are you an EU company? What about GDPR?

Who is liable if ECHA rejects a submission?
You are responsible for the accuracy of the SDS data (composition, CLP classification, EuPCS category). We are responsible for the technical submission of the XML. Before each submission you see a preview and click "Authorize" — that's your electronic signature. If ECHA rejects for a technical reason on our side, we fix and resubmit for free. Our liability cap: 12 months of subscription value.
